The group "FriedSitar" (Edward, Scott, & Emil) was looking to expand therefore a meeting with Edward's friends from Vienna (Pat & Albin) were invited along with Scott and Emil, to Edward's little "farm house" just outside of Prague. Ed made up a huge pot of his famous "Ed's Soup" to be eaten with fresh Czech bread - and then the 5 players sat down for a long evening of getting to know each other musically. Edward had his Roland multi-tracker set up with a few mics around the room, and began multi-tasking between playing recording engineer and multi-instrumentalist.
This one hour of music was edited down from a 2 hour jam session. Unfortunately the other 2 hour jam session that took place that evening got accidentally deleted. (perhaps the result of too much multi-tasking?).
The existing recording got transferred to cassette and left to sit for many many years after that Roland machine was long gone. Apologies for the slight 'tape hiss' evident in the quieter moments - but all in all we are thankful that the sound quality remains as good as it is here.
